Cole Swindell Brings The Win The Night Tour To His Home State!
Country music fans braved the summer heat at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA for an unforgettable evening with Georgia boy Cole Swindell, part of his much-anticipated Win the Night Tour. The show started with Lily Rose, an emerging country artist whose heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocals captivated the audience. Known for her breakout single Villain, Rose’s connection with the crowd set the perfect tone for the evening.
Next up was Dylan Scott, whose energy and charisma had the audience on their feet. Scott, renowned for hits like My Girl and Can’t Have Mine, delivered a high-octane performance that included a mix of his chart-toppers and new tracks. His stage presence was undeniable, even bringing out a mobile bar with a large bottle of whiskey and solo cups, and pouring drinks for a few lucky fans in the pit. Scott continued with his performance by singing his hit Nobody, specifically to a little girl in the front row with a sign that said it was her 10th birthday.
As the sun set, Cole Swindell took the stage to a roaring ovation. Swindell, a Georgia native donning an Atlanta Braves hat and making references to the Georgia Bulldogs throughout the night, made the show extra special for his home state fans. Opening with a spectacular show of lights and heavy-hitting instrumentals, he immediately had the audience in the palm of his hand. Swindell's performance was a masterful blend of his classic hits and new material, showcasing his versatility as an artist. Songs like You Should Be Here and Ain't Worth the Whiskey had fans singing along word for word, while newer tracks demonstrated his ongoing evolution in the country music scene. Cole had a special surprise for the crowd as he explained how numerous well-known artists in Nashville write songs for other musicians. His band kicked off a three-song medley of hits Swindell had a hand in writing, such as Give Me Some of That (Thomas Rhett), Old Beach Roller Coaster (Luke Bryan) and This Is How We Roll (Florida Georgia Line).
Throughout the night, Swindell’s genuine appreciation for his fans showed as he shared that they, along with friends and family, were the reason he could do what he does. Performing his song Ones Who Got Me Here, he expressed his gratitude:
All the haters, all the lovers
All the friends that are more like brothers
All the people I ain't seen in too many years
All the faces in the bleachers
Never gave up on me teachers
Yeah this one's for the ones who got me here
The Win the Night Tour proved to be a celebration of country music, toward the end of his performance, Swindell got the crowd hyped again as he burst into a 90’s country medley that had everyone on their feet. Ending the night with an encore performance of She Had Me At Heads Carolina, Swindell proved that there’s nothing quite like a home state performance.
