Kicking off the evening was the talented singer/songwriter Hannah McFarland from Mobile, Alabama. When she's not creating music, Hannah is a multi-sport athlete and a SAG-AFTRA stunt performer, and her diverse background shone through in her dynamic performance. She opened her set with her original track Broken Hearts Break Homes, showcasing her exceptional songwriting talent.

Though her set included only a few covers, her rendition of Neon Moon was a standout, as she made it distinctly her own. Later, she charmed the crowd with covers of Billie Jean and Still The One. However, it was her original songs like The Bed I Made and Common Ground that truly captivated the audience. Sharing her recent success, Hannah announced that she had just signed her first record deal, ending her set with her current single, Hey Highway.

As the stage transitioned for Kip Moore, the air was charged with excitement, hinting at the extraordinary night that lay ahead. The crowd was packed shoulder to shoulder, buzzing with anticipation. This was not just any sold-out show; it was the kind where you could feel the energy in the air. Kip Moore, making his third appearance at The Rave, was ready to deliver an unforgettable night, and Milwaukee fans were more than prepared to welcome him back.

The lights dimmed, and the room erupted as Kip Moore made his way to the stage, launching into Lipstick. The energy was electric, and Kip was clearly feeding off the crowd's enthusiasm. He took a moment to acknowledge the Milwaukee audience, telling them he knew they'd show up and inviting them to take a trip down memory lane with Faith When I Fall. This set the tone for a night filled with nostalgia and raw emotion.

“Oh boy Madison is in trouble tonight”

With three previous performances at The Rave, Kip seemed to have a special connection with Milwaukee, and it was evident from the start. He reminisced about his experiences in the city, sharing memories and anecdotes that resonated with the audience.

The setlist was a perfect blend of Kip's greatest hits and fan favorites. Songs like Damn Love and Crazy One More Time had the crowd singing along at the top of their lungs. Each song elevates the room's energy When the opening chords of Wild Ones played, the energy reached new heights, with the audience passionately leading the chorus. Kip continued to test the Milwaukee crowd with Plead The 5th and Tennessee Boy, and they passed with flying colors.

The night was a celebration of music and connection, with each song building on the last. As the band fired up Beer Money, Kip sat by the drum riser with a bottle of Jack Daniels, letting the crowd take the lead on the first part of the song. This kind of interaction made the night feel intimate and special. The setlist was a testament to his career, with hits like Separate Ways, She's Mine, Just Another Girl, and More Girls Like You, Kip commanded the stage with one of the best setlists of his career.

“I had an amazing time last night, now I have never said this. There is an opportunity right now, I have only said this 3 times in my whole career. There’s an opportunity in this room, to make an experience that is going to live on for a lifetime tonight right here. We might go really deep into the vault tonight”

Throughout the evening, Kip demonstrated his commanding stage presence, effortlessly guiding the crowd through his musical journey. The volume peaked during That Was Us, prompting Kip to step back and acknowledge that this show was shaping up to be a top-three performance for him. He even hinted at the possibility of it taking the top spot. After playing How High and Magic, the band took a brief break, allowing Kip to share stories of his experiences in Milwaukee over the past 20 years. He expressed his love for the city and even teased a future performance at Cedarburg's Country In The Burg festival in 2025, along with the promise of a new album.

The magic continued as Kip launched into a heartfelt acoustic set, starting with Complicated, a throwback to his 2019 acoustic tour. Responding to a fan request from the balcony, he surprised everyone with Running For You a song that he didn’t plan on playing. The acoustic portion of the show also included Blonde, Red White Blue Jean, and Dirt Road. Opting to keep the acoustic guitar, Kip played It Ain't California and Dirt Road, capturing the audience's heart.

In a special moment reminiscent of his 2014 performance at The Rave, Kip asked everyone to put away their phones as he debuted a new song, Flowers In December. The crowd obliged, and the atmosphere was truly immersive and magical.

“You paid money to be here, and I want a moment between us and no social media”

True to his promise of not letting off the gas, Kip pushed the energy to the limit as he delivered high-octane performances of The Bull, Heart's Desire, Somethin' 'Bout a Truck, and Come and Get It. It was clear that Kip was giving everything he had, determined to leave it all on the stage. He concluded his set with Last Shot as an exhausted Kip Moore sat to take a breather during the piano outro, then Mickey's Bar ended the set, but the crowd wasn't ready to let go just yet.

Refusing to stop at a 28-song setlist, the audience roared for an encore, and Kip delivered with Live Here to Work and fan-favorite Backseat. As the night came to a close, Kip and his band locked arms for a final bow, expressing gratitude to the Milwaukee crowd for being such a pivotal part of their journey. The connection between the band, Kip, and the audience was undeniable, making it one of the best shows of their career.

Before the crowd exited, Kip took to the mic one last time to share an intimate moment, revealing he had turned down a lucrative offer to play at Summerfest next year in favor of remaining true to smaller festivals like Country In The Burg. His loyalty to Wisconsin was met with wild cheers, further cementing his bond with his fans. Kip’s genuine connection with the audience underscored the authenticity that defines his music and performances.
