Luke Bryan Sells Out Chicago

The Raised Up Right tour packed them in and sold the place out, the 28K+ filled the Hollywood Casino amphitheater with a wide ranges of ages all there to see either their favorite Country singer or American Idol judge.

The night kicked off in a big way with Mitchell Tenpenny who just scored his 3rd #1 hit. Mitchell kicked off his set with “To Us It Did” & the hit’s kept rolling with “At The End Of A Bar” & “Alcohol You Later”. His recent #1 “Truth About You” followed while adding in his first cover song “Ole Red”. He wrapped up his 6-song set with his first #1 “Drunk Me” & a cover of the Goo Goo Dolls “Iris”. Tenpenny brought his A-game to Tinley Park, & wowed the crowd with his rocking Country Music, except many more #1’s from this young Singer/Songwriter

The duck calls started making some noise & the Sold-Out crowd quickly followed in when Riley Green made his way to the stage & opened with “Different Round Here”, followed by “If It Wasn’t For Trucks”. Riley ended up doing the song “Half Of Me” which he recorded as a duet with Thomas Rhett. The Song which was written by Rhett & Josh Thompson was followed by a cover song of “In Color”. “Put ‘EM On Me” & “Georgia Time” Followed, before Riley made a joking announcement that the bus didn’t have enough room and one had to go, the band battled it out with some licks from some of the most popular cover songs before going into “Should Have Been A Cowboy”. Riley then made his way just him and a guitar to the end of the ramp for his song “I Wish Grandpas Never Died”, which had the Sold-Out crowd holding their phones high up, lightning the night sky. Riley wrapped up his set with “Hell Of A Way To Go” & his smash hit “There Was This Girl”. Prior to tonight’s show Riley was announced as an opener on the Luke Combs world tour & his performance tonight was one a lot of those fans will have as a memory for a long time to come.

Lights dimmed and 28+ plus started to roar as Luke Bryan hollers “What’s Up Chi-Town” & kicks off the set with “I Don’t Want This Night To End” The high energy Bryan was making his way around covering all parts of the stage. Luke Bryan made sure to throw in a pair of huge hits “Knockin’ Boots” & “One Margarita” from his latest release “Born Here Live Here Die Here” which was released in April of 2021. Luke’s latest release “Country On” found its way into the middle of the setlist, Followed by “What Makes You Country”, before Luke slowed it down for his heartfelt song written by David Frasier, Ed Hill, & Josh Kear “Most People Are Good” there was not a single person not singing along to this. His duet with Jordan Davis “Buy Dirt” followed a few songs later which left the crowd silent as they listed to the lyrics that could change life’s. Luke showcased his piano skills for a few as well “Strip It Down” & “Do I”. He then proceeded to call back to the stage Mitchell Tenpenny, who walks out with 2 shots as they went into “Family Tradition” followed by Bryan’s penned hit “Good Directions”. A cigar smoking Riley Green emerged next to a thunderous applause and went immediately into his rendition of “Sweet Home Chicago” before throwing it back with a classic George Jones hit “Choices”. They followed up with pieces of “Meet In The Middle”, “Just Wanted You To Know”, & Joe Diffie’s “Pickup Man” Before Luke went into “Drink A Beer” solo. Bryan closed out his impressive set with “That’s My Kind Of Night” & “Country Girl”, which left fans dancing in the aisle wanting more from the American Idol judge Luke Bryan.
