THE OUTSIDERS REVIVAL TOUR COMING THIS SUMMER

On January 8th, 2023, Country Music Singer/Songwriter blacked out all his social media with a faint grey number that read 1/11/23. Alongside that was a cryptic video in true Eric Church fashion. The video was just a teaser for a big announcement on 1.11.23. Speculation quickly started amongst Church’s Fan Groups on what the message could be. The clip featured an old radio with radio static flipping through stations, to the likes of Jelly Roll’s “Son Of A Sinner”, Ashley Mcbryde’s “Bonfire at Tina’s,”, & Cody Jinks's “Must Be the Whiskey,” followed by his own version of “Springsteen”.

“Till This Day, When I Sing This Song, I See You Standing There On That Lawn”

Fans quickly thought either a New Tour or Church’s Outsiders Radio was moving channels, But with Eric Church, this could mean anything. The radio dial even ended with the date 1.11.23, just like his social media. Check out the first cryptic message below.

Then, on the very next day, Church drops his second Cryptic video, which has now sent the Church Choir into full excitement mode. Speculation amped up, Could his Outsiders Radio move into Garth’s old spot? Is this a Festival? Maybe a New Album? Eric had every one of his Choir trying to decipher this second message, which included songs from Lainey Wilson with “Heart Like A Truck,” Travis Tritt with “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive,” & Whiskey Myers’ “Stone,” it ends with Eric’s own song “Heart On Fire”. If this is going to be a Tour or Festival, then this lineup will be huge. See the cryptic teaser part 2 here.

Then comes day 3, January 10th, 2023, with the anticipation building we get yet another cryptic Eric Church video, this one included what could be a big clue. This clip featured Parker McCollum and what sounded like Cody Johnson, but with the static again it could be someone else. This could be huge whatever Church is on the verge of announcing. He did drop a big hint when he said.

“I Still Remember My First Amphitheater Concert, I was 16 Years Old”

See the cryptic post below

Finally, The announcement is here! Eric Church is bringing the Outsiders Revival Tour to an amphitheater near you, coming summer of 2023. Premium Church Choir members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets during an exclusive presale on Tuesday, January 17th.

Could this be the end of an era for Eric Church as he brings out opening acts for the first time in almost 5 years on a tour. We do give him credit as well, most were expecting larger stadium shows with the next Eric Church tour, but the amphitheaters will be a perfect fit for a tour of this magnitude.

Joining the man praised by POLLSTAR for “having already long established himself as one of the most successful touring country artists” across varying dates are Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde, Koe Wetzel, Lainey Wilson, Midland, Parker McCollum, Travis Tritt, Elle King, and Paul Cauthen, plus Jackson Dean, Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith & The Saints, Hailey Whitters, Ray Wylie Hubbard and The Red Clay Strays.

“When I approach touring, I’m always inspired by a new experience, a new way to gather, to express ourselves sonically and visually. Whether it’s solo, in the round, double down; being able to bring a different perspective has always brought out our best creatively,” shared Church. “Well, we have never done an outdoor summer tour. Never headlined amphitheaters. Never brought a summer experience to your town that featured artists we want to share the summer with. Until now. See you in the season of sunshine with some fellow outsiders that shine brightest when the sun goes down.”
