The Prank Was On Ray Fulcher

We recently caught up with Singer/Songwriter Ray Fulcher prior to him hitting the stage for Milwaukee Radio Stations FM106 “Class Of 2022”. He told us about his end-of-the-tour prank that ended up being on him.

When Ray appeared onstage for his “Does To Me” duet on the last night of the Luke Combs ‘What You See Is What You Get” Tour, he did so dress as Eric Church. Ray was a co-writer on the song “Does To Me” song which was cut by Luke & Eric. So, it was only fitting to dress like the Chief even going as far as getting Ashley McBryde’s stylist to help him pull it off with grey hair spray. Eric quickly called Ray out a few weeks later.

That’s when the prank was on him. Ray attended an Eric Church show in Greenville, NC & didn’t know that Luke tipped Eric off that he was in the crowd that night. This led to a quick text and a few hours with his mentor. Of course, they talked about the prank, drank some Jack Daniels, & just talked shop about both of their careers. Ray Fulcher has credited Eric Church for helping him make the decision to give music his full attention.
