Bailey James brings back her soulful tone that has shades of the 70’s Southern Rock n Roll blues and delivers another powerful hit. “Better Angels” takes you to a better place when you are dealing with the pain of loss. The lyrics go deep just like the rest of James’s catalog, it’s hard to believe something so powerful is coming out of someone so young. Bailey had no co-writers on this single, and she didn’t need it to deliver a message like she does on “Better Angels”

Bailey James is a rising southern rock n' roll superstar. Her resume is like no other at only 19 she is truly on the rise. She was also appointed as the first National Youth Advocate for The Jason Foundation and has started her own mental health/suicide prevention awareness movement, The Finally Free Movement, in honor of her brother Zane, who she lost to suicide.

Bailey James’s music video for her new single, “Better Angels”, will visually transport you into a past memory of mistakes and the trials of finding forgiveness. Surrounded by nature, Bailey James explores her classic country roots through her music, setting the scene for the heartbreaking story.

"This song is dedicated to the world. We are all battling something. Everyone is dragging some type of pain that most people around them have no idea about. There is no pain or loss that this life can put on you that heaven can’t heal. I challenge everyone to love more, fight less and help those that need it. We are stronger together than we are all alone.  Sometimes it’s just recognizing someone’s existence through a smile or wave that can set them on a more positive course. May the world know better angels." - Bailey James
