Jeb Gipson has released a heartbreaking song in tribute to a close friend who tragically passed away. Titled "House In Heaven," this song brings the emotion of grief and his passion for music together in an honest and beautiful way, showing just how much of an impact one person can have on another.

It's been about a year and a half since Jeb Gipson's close friend, Chandler, passed away suddenly. Earlier this week on Chan’s Birthday, Gipson released a heartfelt tribute to his friend with the new song "House In Heaven."

27-year-old firefighter Chandler “Chan” Patterson lost his life in a boating accident in late June of 2021, just 3 weeks after his wedding. The news hit Jeb hard. He was devastated and felt like he needed to do something to honor his friend's memory. That's when he decided to write and record a song called "House in Heaven." With co-writers Jenna Paulette & Smith Ahnquist. Jeb even gave Chandler songwriting credits on the song. Jeb’s been quoted in interviews saying.

“I feel like me and Chan wrote the first half of the song when I was alone at my house just playing my guitar.”

"House in Heaven" is a beautiful tribute to Chan and all of the memories they shared together. The song is full of emotion and will definitely resonate with anyone who has lost a loved one. Jeb's vocals are perfect for the song and his passion for making this tribute is evident in every note.

If you're looking for a moving tribute to listen to, then be sure to check out "House in Heaven" by Jeb Gipson. It's a beautiful song that will make you hold your loved ones a little tighter.

Chan’s wife Alyssa Patterson wanted to keep his memory alive and started the Dude 21 Foundation. The mission of the Dude 21 Foundation is to support firefighters in furthering their careers with continuing education as well as serve the parents, widows, and children of fallen first responders. Dude 21 was even brewed into its own beer, at a local Georgia brewery.

“If you want to be happy, you have to invest in people. We get so caught up chasing money and materialistic and tangible objects, that really do nothing for us. When you die, what are people going to say about you? Are they gonna say, “Man, that guy drove an awesome truck,” or, “Man, that guy had nice clothes”? When you’re gone, people don’t remember those things, people don’t care about that. People care about who you are and your heart. If you invest in people, you will always be rich. If you have a full heart, you’ll be rich. And you can never have that if you don’t pour into other people.”

– Chandler Patterson

"House in Heaven" is a beautiful expression of how music can provide comfort and healing in difficult times. It's a reminder that our loved ones are always with us, even when they're no longer physically present.

The lyrics are full of raw emotion, and it's clear that Gipson is still struggling to come to terms with his friend's death. But through the song, he's able to honor Chan's memory and keep him close to his heart. The song is a moving tribute to those who have lost someone they love. It captures the pain of loss while also celebrating the happy memories shared between friends.
