Avenged Sevenfold Bring The Life Is But A Dream Tour To Atlanta

The Life is but a Dream Tour took Atlanta by storm in late September with Avenged Sevenfold as the headliner who brought along the long controversial Falling in Reverse. A packed Ameris Bank Amphitheater cheered “Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie!!” as the sun set and the stage lights hit the crowd. The singer came out swinging and absolutely rocked the house with fan favorites such as Watch the World Burn and Zombified.

Halfway through the set, Ronnie gave a heartfelt “thank you” to Avenged Sevenfold and his fans who have stood by him through all of his highs and lows over the years and for still believing in him and his music. With a resounding “we love you Ronnie,” the beat dropped and Radke asked the crowd “who here is an asshole?! I KNOW I am! So let me see those middle fingers in the air!!” while thousands sang Just Like You at the top of their lungs. Ronnie wrapped up with his hit, Popular Monster.

Next up was the band everyone had been waiting for. A single chair was placed in the middle of the stage with lights beaming down like spotlights. The crowd got quiet for mere seconds before M. Shadows came out and took a seat.

The rest of the band came out with incredible graphics on stage to roof screens that made you feel as if you were walking through an old school carnival house.

Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Johnny Christ and Brooks Wackerman absolutely brought the house down with their insane musical talents. The heavy metal band included hits across the years like Hail to the King, A Little Piece of Heaven, Buried Alive and Beast and the Harlot in the set, making sure to perform something from almost every album they’ve released.
