Drew Parker Sells-Out His First Headline Chicago Show

Drew Parker, the rising country music singer/songwriter, rocked the stage at a sold-out concert in Chicago last night, which was part of his “End Of The Dirt Road” Tour. With his signature blend of traditional country lyrics and modern Southern rock-infused sound, Parker had the crowd on their feet from the moment he stepped onto the stage.

Drew Parker, the Nashville-based singer/songwriter, has just sold out his first Chicago headline show at Carol's Pub! This was an incredible milestone for the up-and-coming artist and a testament to the hard work and dedication of his fans. Parker performed an intimate set of original songs that showcased his unique blend of country, western, and rock. His music resonated with the audience, leaving them wanting more. The concert, held at the iconic Carol’s Pub, was a testament to Parker's growing popularity in the country music scene. Fans eagerly packed the venue to sing along to his hit songs like "While You're Gone" and "Party in the Back". Not to be outdone by a few new ones too. Parker's performance was nothing short of electrifying, as he effortlessly moved from up-tempo tunes to heartfelt ballads. His raw talent and undeniable stage presence was vibrant with Carol’s crowd.

The night kicked off with a stellar performance from singer/songwriter Meghan Patrick. A Canadian native who found her way to Nashville & is one of the best female writers in the genre. Her set at Carol’s proved just that, as it was mostly an original set, that had the crowd getting warmed up quickly. Her relatable lyrics had the crowd paying attention early on in her set.

It was clear that Drew’s fans in the city were excited to finally see him take the stage. The venue was full of energy, with people singing along to all of his songs, some even singing louder than him. Everyone in the room was smiling from ear to ear as he performed a mix of his original music and covers of some of his favorite songs. His fan base ranges from young adults to older generations, and it was great to see so many different types of people come together for this special night.

Drew Parker performed a mix of his original songs as well as a few covers. The setlist included some of his most popular tracks such as “Runway”, “Hell Yeah Say When I'm In” and “While You're Gone”. Prior to “Runway” Drew told the story about how in March of 2020 over the course of 72 hours he Got his first #1 as a songwriter, quit his day job at the hospital, and became a dad. He went on to say.

“I’m now the proud dad of the most beautiful almost 3-year-old little girl you have ever laid your eye’s on, I miss her so much, and you know packing the suitcase to come on the road, has been a lot harder over the last three years, but hopefully one day, I’ll get to tell her and she will understand when I say Hey I got to go on a Friday Night and play for a sold-out crowd in Chicago, Il at Carol’s Pub, and I’ll get to explain to her what it’s like to have a dream and hopefully she will understand what that means. If it is possible for a kid from a small town in Georgia to chase a dream of playing and writing Country Music to be all the way in Chicago on a Friday night, that it is possible for anything else on this earth to happen. Don’t ever give up on your dreams, and don’t stop chasing those dreams, and don’t you dare stop anybody from chasing theirs”.

Other highlights included a stunning acoustic performance of “House Band” and a heartfelt cover of Shania Twain's “Still The One”. Drew even played a few of his Luke Combs cuts one being "Doin' This". Which is Drew's 1st Grammys nominated song. The night was rounded out with a few unreleased songs, including “I'll Love You Longer”, and “My Baby Does”. It was an incredible show from start to finish, leaving fans wanting more.
