Southerland Brought A Warm Front To Chicagoland

A warm front rolled into Rosemont, Il and it wasn’t just the extra degrees in the temp. Chris Rodgers & Matt Chase make up the duo Southerland, and for the first time as a duo, they arrived just outside the Windy City. The chemistry between the two singers/songwriters is the perfect recipe for an entertaining evening. Kicking off a high-energy acoustic set with their hit “Ice Cold Country Music”, the duo was ready to deliver a perfect Chicago debut.

Southerland slowed it down with their next single due out on March 3rd, “World Without You”. Showing the softer side of the duo, this song delivers a classic country love song and stays true to Southerland’s 90’s country style. This song has been teased for a few months now & fans will be excited to know it finally has a release date. This song was inspired by Matt’s upcoming wedding & would make a perfect wedding song for couples all over.

Calling an audible during the set, they decided to play a new song for the Rosemont crowd, for the first time ever Southerland debuted a song titled “Cold Beer Side Of Town”. When they got to the chorus you could tell by the crowd’s reaction that they have a future fan favorite.
