No Resolve Rocks Atlanta

Oscar Pegorraro, better known as the “Singing UPS Man,” is also the frontman for the touring rock band, No Resolve. The band started in 2017 but gained popularity in 2020 after a few of Oscar’s TikTok videos went viral. Inspired by bands such as Papa Roach and Three Days Grace, the guys put their own spin on fan-favorite covers like Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins, Thunder Rolls by Garth Brooks, Disney songs, and most recently, Counting Stars with Saving Abel in addition to their original music.

On March 26th, No Resolve took the stage as the openers for the hit rock bands Buckcherry and Skid Row at the Buckhead Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. Playing for a packed house, the guys came out strong with their original, Hostage, followed by Danger Zone, which will always get a crowd hyped! If the audience was simply there for the larger name artists, they were definitely in for a surprise when Oscar and his guys hit that first note with a musicial punch in the face. High energy from the first song to the last, filled with sing-along covers such as the Stranger Things soundtrack hit, Running Up That Hill, and Moana’s How Far I’ll Go.

Halfway through the set, the guys whipped out Easy by Adele and killed the ballad with grunge vocals, heavy electric guitars, thick bass lines, and beefy drums. The lead singer asked for the house lights to be turned way down and the theater lit up with cellphone lights swaying back and forth like lighters. The nine-song set definitely wasn’t long enough for anyone. As soon as the lights went down for the last time, the crowd somehow got louder, cheering with excitement and awe at what they had just heard. After their set and some were getting their standing-only spots to hear Buckcherry next, others formed a line that wrapped through the foyer for a chance to meet the band at their merch table. Each fan was greeted with excitement by the band members as they genuinely were stoked to talk with people who enjoyed the show. Spending as much time with them as each fan wanted, the guys signed autographs, took photos, and gave hugs to whoever wanted them. For those who love rock and are looking for a new band to put on repeat, definitely check these guys out!
