Jake Worthington To Release Self-Titled Debut Album

Jake Worthington is releasing his first self-titled debut album on April 7th. I have been following Jake since the fifth season of The Voice and am truly excited and proud of this debut album. The album will contain thirteen songs, all of which he has co-written except for one. There will be some familiar co-writers on this album, such as David Lee Murphy and Ernest.

This past Friday, he teased us with two of the songs, with accompanying music videos: "Next New Thing" and "State You Left Me In". Jake's music and sound always give me George Jones mixed with Travis Tritt vibes. He is definitely honky-tonk'ing on this album and staying true to his roots. Both of the new songs he released this past Friday can be heard in any honky-tonk bar while people are doing the Texas two-step. If you love Texas country, you definitely need to check out Jake Worthington.
