A Cruise with Derek Jones

Wisconsin's Clear Water Harbor Resort boat cruise presented by the Embresi Group set sail on Friday evening featuring live entertainment by Derek Jones with a special guest, local singer-songwriter, Abby Spencer. Spencer immediately engrossed the listeners by opening with the well-known Lainey Wilson song, Things A Man Ought To Know. While maintaining a sweet and charming character throughout her set, Spencer showcased several covers and originals including her newest, A Night At The Showboat Saloon. Spencer's unique and recognizable tone demonstrated sheer purity with an underlying country grit.

Sailing through the Chain O' Lakes, singer-songwriter Derek Jones played a sold-out, two-hour acoustic show for the passengers of Clear Water's boat cruise. Jones's unique set included story-telling behind the lyrics of his originals, Pray, Cold As A Stone, and Everybody's Somebody. The intimate connection with the crowd resulted in exemplary power and emotion through each lyric accompanied by unblemished acoustics. As Chief Waupaca made his way back to shore, Jones executed a quintessential performance of Free To Leave, leaving passengers emotionally in awe.
