Tyler Rich Delivers For His First Chicago Headline Show

Tyler Rich took over Chicago, during his first headline Chicago show to a nearly sold-out Joe’s On Weed St. He didn’t do it alone bringing along a powerhouse in Kylie Morgan making her debut on the legendary stage.

Kylie Morgan owned the stage in her Joe’s On Weed St. debut, turning the packed room into a singalong song after song. Kylie was supposed to make her debut last year with Niko Moon, but that tour was cut short due to Covid. She sure had some built-up energy she saved for her special set that even her own momma didn’t miss. She didn’t miss a beat during her 45-minute set even dropping a new song after telling the Chicago crowd she is only 9 days away from getting married. Kylie and Fiancé Jay Allen were supposed to wed last month but Hurricane Ian had other plans and they, unfortunately, had to cancel their Ft Myers Beach Wedding.

Lights dimmed as Tyler Rich and his band took the Chicago stage. Sporting a Lollapalooza jacket with the Chicago flag on it, you knew Tyer Rich was ready to show Chicago who he is. This is Tyler’s 2nd time playing the legendary Joe’s stage, but his first time headlining a show in Chicago, and he didn’t disappoint. During his 19-song setlist, Tyler left everything he had on that stage, he delivered a show that was a high-energy roller coaster of songs. Playing a good bit of songs from his 2020 album “Two Thousand Miles”, Tyler made sure to include a few new ones, one that he makes himself sing every night about losing his dad to addiction. This emotional song is going to be a Tyler Rich staple once released, he ended it with a big point to the sky to pay tribute.

Tyler’s latest single “Thinkin’ We’re In Love” features Marie-Mai, but the Chicago crowd got lucky and got Kylie Morgan back to the stage for a live duet of the song. Which was just as good if not better than the single itself. Tyler closed out the night with his hit “Leave Her Wild” & he had that crowd going crazy wanting more. Once the show was over and the lights came up, Tyler was still on-stage meeting fans that gathered close to the front, taking selfies with each of them, something you don’t see too much of anymore. Tyler’s Thinkin’ We’re In Love Tour ends this December in Michigan, after 32 dates since September. Don’t miss this tour if you get the chance, it’s a must-see!
