Jay Allen Is The Voice
As the NBC hit show "The Voice" premiered last night one person stood out to lots of people with the name Jay Allen. For his audition, he sang Cody Johnson's number 1 hit "Till You Can't". Jay has a country rock voice. He has lived in Nashville, TN for the last 10 years but is originally from a small town called Cedar Falls, IA. They allowed him to sing the song he wrote for his mother who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers at the age of 51.
His mother passed away in 2019 and after that, it was Jay's mission to help out the Alzheimer’s Foundation. To date, he has raised over $50 million dollars from his song "Blank Stares". He recently had a benefit concert with his fiancé Kylie Morgan for the Walk To End Alzheimers Foundation in my hometown in Bloomington, IL. They had raised over $5,000 at the show that night. I can not wait to watch his journey play out on "The Voice" this season.
